  • Introduction
  • White Paper - Blue Ray Secure Destruction
  • MediaDice - New Product!

  • In 2011, the Federal Trade Commission received 1.34 million complaints of identity theft, fraud, invasion of privacy, and other data security related breaches.Improperly disposed of optical media and magnetic stripe cards (bank cards, driver's licenses, badges etc.) that contain classified, security-sensitive and/or personally-identifiable information, have become an easy target for criminals. Optical media sanitization methods such as grinding, embossing/knurling, and file deletion/erasure are not always effective, especially for Blu-Ray discs. These methods can be risky and unreliable since data can sometimes be recovered through modern forensic techniques. Disintegration is the only reliable means of complete physical destruction that renders data on optical media unrecoverable.

    Product Features
  • The hardened-steel knife mill at the heart of the MediaDice aggressively chops, dices and disintegrates the media.
  • Max particle nominal edge dimension of 1.5mm or less and surface area of 2.25mm2 is significantly less than permitted by NSA/CSS Specification 04-02, 5mm and 25mm2, respectively
